After school on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3-5pm, I host a sewing workshop for Middle School students. While sharing my passion for sewing, I wanted to give back to the community that raised me for 14 years. By using school banners, five middle school students and I created cushions for the school community to use. Whether they are used on the field, or the bleachers, seating encourages people to come together.
