This piece of five identical bodies but each with unique sewing patterns, are connected together through the excess strings creating a root-like image. While each body appears identical from a far, from up close, each print reveals its distinct stitching pattern, symbolizing the uniqueness and individuality of every human being.  The blending of the strings emphasize our interconnectedness, intending to show how communities are built through individuals who come from different backgrounds (our ‘roots’), despite sharing similar outer shells, like our physical bodies.
